I found the NO S Diet book in the library and have almost read the whole thing in two days. Today is my first day of the diet. I am a little nervous but I am excited. I need to lose weight. I'm fat and I really hate myself most days. This idea seems so DUH to me I hope I can stick to it. I am not so worried about the No Sweets as the No snacking. Here goes nothing!

Welcome,

I found this board in April, lost 15 pounds and reached my goal weight - now I am going to use the three healthy meals a day to maintain.

Have made some great friends on the board, hope to count you among them.

To your health,

SR

Welcome! Like Shamrockmommy, this is my 4th try. The program is great and very easy. I just kept trying to go back to my Intuitive Eating beliefs (it wasn't working). This is the only 'diet' I've been able to find that truly makes you eat like you're supposed to eat. It fits in with all of life's situations. No one ever even needs to know that you are on a diet. Best of luck to you.

I guess this doesn't work unless you actually do it.

Welcome and good luck!

I'm a former librarian, so I'm thrilled the book is pretty widely available in libraries.

Snacking tends to be the trickiest S for most people.

Keep posting here -- especially if you run into trouble, it really helps.
