It's Been A Long Time!

(New!) Read (or post) about people who have stuck with No-S for 10 or more months, lost 10 or more pounds, or 10 or more percent for their starting weight. Periodic updates strongly encouraged -- you can think of it as "Yearly Check In."

It's Been A Long Time!

Post by friscobob »

I wanted to let everyone know that the No S Diet rocks! It has been well over a year since I posted here. At that time I stated that I had lost from 211 lbs. down to 156 pounds, using the No S Diet approach. I have maintained my weight loss to the degree I want to. I felt a little light at 156, so I have been at 170 the past 4 months, and feel fantastic. At a height of 5'11", this weight feels right, and looks right. So, to all I say, the No S Diet rocks! Get on it and stay on it, it works!

Update

Post by friscobob »

I am still maintaining my weight at 170 pounds. No S is ingrained in me now, I don't have to thnk about it, it's a lifetime habit. I walk 30-60 minutes a day, depending on schedules, etc. So, if anyone is considering following this program, this new lifestyle really, don't hesitate, JUST DO IT! Best regards to all.

Friscobob -- that is great to hear! Nothing makes me happier than long term maintenance success stories. It may not be flashy, but "more of the same" is better (and rarer) news than sudden precipitous drops.

Thanks for swinging by again to keep us posted and best of luck keeping on keeping on,

Reinhard

Don't know how I missed your post back in 2011 and I'm glad I caught your update. Your weight sounds perfect for your height. Thank you for spreading the news.

Nice job keeping the weight off. Honestly, I think that's what it's all about. This is my favorite diet to turn people on to... Its not a fad, but because it's so easy, a lot of people slip. If you don' t, it works. Common Sense baby. Common sense.

GREAT JOB :D
