Yesterday I saw a friend that I had not seen in weeks. She said I looked thinner. But I've only lost 1 pound since I started last week. How can it be possible that it's already showing?

One week ... one pound...
The Truth?
Your current weight loss is not showing yet.
My guess is that......
Either your friend was flattering you
or
the mental image he/she has of you is fatter than you actually are.

Maybe with more regular eating you have lost some bloat.

Maybe you're feeling in control and optimistic and are standing up straighter.

I'm pretty lax about the standard of proof when it comes to compliments (criticisms are another matter!). Enjoy and keep on no-essing.

Well also , if you are exercising you may have tightened up. A freind of mine I helped start a workout, lost about 11 but looks and feels like she lost 30.
