shovelglove entry at wikipedia.com

Take a sledgehammer and wrap an old sweater around it. This is your "shovelglove." Every week day morning, set a timer for 14 minutes. Use the shovelglove to perform shoveling, butter churning, and wood chopping motions until the timer goes off. Stop. Rest on weekends and holidays. Baffled? Intrigued? Charmed? Discuss here.

I'm flattered! But the thing is, I don't think this is an official entry that you can find from the main wikkipedia page. It looks like it's attached to a particular user, but hasn't for some reason made it to "production."

Here's where the official article should be (but isn't):

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shovelglove

I wish I had the time and energy (and objectivity!) to make this happen, but I'm afraid there are a dozen other pressing shovelglove tasks ahead of it on my todo list. If there are any wikkipedia masters among you, for whom plopping up something skeletal would be a piece of cake, I'd be deeply grateful...

Yes, I realized that it looks like an article-in-waiting. However, it came up when I googled shovelglove :)

Actually, that's now a real page.

Check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shovelglove.

Hmmm..

I'm still seeing "Wikipedia does not have an article with this exact name. Please search for Shovelglove. in Wikipedia to check for alternative titles or spellings."

Maybe rival wikkipedia editors are dueling about its status and sending it back and forth.

My bad, the problem was the colon at the end of my sentence (and at the end of the address).

Ah, excellent. I should have spotted that.

For the record what happened was:
1. I created the Shovelglove page at Wikipedia.
2. It got deleted as non-notable, but they gave me a chance to save the text to my wikipedia userpage.
3. Reinhard did an interview with healthyplanet.
4. I used that as evidence of notability and recreated the article.
5. Noone has redeleted it for a long time (and one person agreed re: notability), so hopefully it's okay. Yay!

However, I don't know a lot about Shovelgloving other than what I read on the homepage (I haven't even tried it out 'cos I have a bad back).

If someone who knows a bit more about it wants to plump out the article, that would be awesome. (NOT Reinhard - Wikipedians tend to delete anything that looks like self-promotion).

Thanks.

Thank you, irrevenant, for clarifying (and getting this started to begin with!)

I'll continue keep my editorial distance, but I'd be delighted if anyone who is capable of seeming sufficiently impartial would fill it out a bit more (an entry for No-s would be nice, too!).
