Just dump whatever candy you have after you have had enough or bring it in to where you work..

Yeah, somehow despite my love for candy I don't actually care about Halloween. If I was going to a party or something, I'd indulge on behalf of that, but since I'm not it seems slightly silly. That said, I did eat 2 cookies today, but it wasn't at all Halloween related.

If you're into it at all or have kids and therefore candy eating, I'd say go for it. It's one day whose main purpose has become candy.
