I read about highlighting the text but where is the "font color" tool?

Sorry I didn't see this till now.

When you edit a post, there is a little box the says "font colour" right above the text box. Select the text you want to color, then choose the color from the box. It will display as funny looking markup code until you hit preview or submit.
