Ninth year

(New!) Read (or post) about people who have stuck with No-S for 10 or more months, lost 10 or more pounds, or 10 or more percent for their starting weight. Periodic updates strongly encouraged -- you can think of it as "Yearly Check In."

Ninth year

Post by DaveMc »

Wow, nine years already? I'm back to report another year on habit: vanilla NoS, no special rules or mods.

I don't have any numbers to report, since I no longer weigh myself and I don't think our scale is actually working at the moment. Qualitatively, I think I'm about the same as I was a year ago, so I'd guess that there are no major gains or losses.

If you want my full NoS history, I did a more complete retrospective last year:

https://everydaysystems.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=11464

I say this pretty much every year, but it remains true: NoS is just in the background, now. It's my default, and though it may get disrupted when I'm very sick (which happens occasionally, as it did earlier this year), it's always simple to get back to it when I recover. I'm planning to just keep chugging away like this!

For newcomers who may wonder if it's possible to get to a point where you just don't think about all this any more, let me tell you: I just don't think about it!

So good to hear this, Dave.

You've graduated to a higher plane of post-dieting.

Looking forward to more "no news" reports from the stratosphere in future years!

Thanks, Richard, but are you saying I need a better conclusion to my testimonial? :) Because there isn't one, I'm not done yet ... (Or is "Richard" perhaps a bot?)

AdamChase, I hate to say this, but I don't believe you are a sincere human poster.
