No Snacks, no sweets, no seconds. Except on Days that start with S. Too simple for you? Simple is why it works. Look here for questions, introductions, support, success stories.
Another member told me a post of mine appeared four times on her thread, but on my side, it never showed up as being posted until she told me, having always yielded a page saying the site wasn't available. And today, I got another comment that a post I tried to make didn't make it. But maybe it did?

Hi oolala-
Every time I have posted anything for the past week or so, it has told me the site wasn't available. Then when I checked, it had indeed posted. So I have been checking back to the site to see if mine posted before reposting. I don't know what is causing that, but the error is in the message it sends to you, not in the site's ability to post your comment, as far as I can tell. At least that has been how it was for mine.

No Sweets, No Snacks and No Seconds, Except (Sometimes) on days that start with "S".
I found the same thing, so have been ignoring the error message. Eventually, the error message stopped appearing, but the post would take a lot longer than usual.

Hmm. Now I know why I've been procrastinating on this server move for so long.
It sounds like this is different from the email related issue reported earlier. This sounds like maybe your browser is remembering the old server's IP address and pointing there (the old server still exists in a shadowy way, haven't quite pulled the plug yet).
What browser are you using? If you're on chrome, you should be able to clear your DNS cache by typing this into the location field (where you normal type urls):
chrome://net-internals/#dns
And then clicking the "clear host cache" button.
Please let me know if this doesn't do the trick or you're still having issues,
Though I'm seeing something similar now in the board sign up section (timeout error when you submit, even though the sign up works and the new account is created).
I fixed the posting slowness (slowness had to do with emails -- posts that didn't trigger an email were fine, posts that did took a solid minute just to send the email).
Potential new problem: is anyone actually getting these emails?
Good to know! Thanks. While I was fixing the slowness issue I did a bit of rejiggering that I guess might have helped the emails withstand spam filters a little better.
