I can't believe it's been seven years since I've been here, but my last post was in April of 2007. I'm guessing I found out shortly after that post that I was pregnant with my first child, who was born in December 2007. A girl. My son followed in 2010. I used no s to lose my baby weight both times, and every other diet since trying to manage the middle age creep that never seems to let me maintain.
I always come back to no s as the most sensible solution, rereading the book and perusing the discussion board for motivation. It's amazing to me too see names I remember from seven years ago; a testament I believe to the effectiveness of this plan.
I've been having trouble sticking with the three meals lately and thought if I actually signed on I might get the little extra support and accountability I need to make this habit again.
Of all the things I keep trying, this one is the most sane. Watch portion sizes, realize I won't die from starvation from not eating in-between meals, and then keep to my oddball food issues and I do/feel so much better, even if I don't lose weight.

So, here I go...
Hiya Lizbeth, I agree on both counts! I think No S is the most sensible diet and everytime I try something new I relearn why. I also think it's hard to get motivated on an island so I've rejoined after close to a year away.
Good luck Jibaholic. I've really been doing well. Not perfect, but really good. I've found cleaning up my meals and going veggie heavy has really helped. I've also realized that crunchy starchy carbs make me binge.

Going veggie heavy resounds with me. Today I had zucchini, onion, sweet potato, carrots, and broccoli. Some in multiple dishes. Also had a banana, apple and grapes.
