Reinhard, he wanted to ask you if you ever have used or know of a computer program called "Microworlds"?
They are using this program in his computer class now
Anybody else ever use this program?
Have a great day!
My name isn't Reinhard , but I got a bit curious all the same. I have never used microworlds myself, but I had a quick look (googled microworlds and ran their flash demo). It looks very nifty and like it could be a really fun way to do lots of maths and science stuff. Their input language reminds me a lot of BASIC and the fact that they have a little 'turtle' to enact the student's program brings back fond memories of working with a real 'robotic' turtle in our classroom when I was at school.
Hmm. I might download their actual demo program someday when I'm not so busy and have a little play around with it.
Hi CJ! Somehow our little yellow flag didn't show any reply to this post.. Weird!!!
I'll let Richard know you checked out Microworlds!
Hee hee!
I think he likes the idea of Reinhard the Computer genius using a program like that because that would put him in league with the greats of the Computer Geeks of the Universe!
He's gonna be mad at me that I wrote that!
LOL...
Actually, I did use something like it. We didn't call it microworlds, we just called it "logo" and "turtle graphics." Retro appeal notwithstanding, I'm sure microworlds is a lot more fun. It sounds like it's just the next generation of the same basic software.
