I am going to be frank. (Don't be confused, I am really still O43.)
Anyway I have spent close to the last decade being fairly depressed. To skip to the present, it culminated with me driving around the desert last Fall with a handgun in the backseat trying to find a quiet place to park. Eventually I thought it through, chickened out and headed home.
My physician put me on Cymbalta and told me to give him my gun. I hope he doesn't use it to rob anyone. One of the side effects was weight gain. Couple that with the holidays and I started to plump up.
I have just finished the 21 Day challenge with today being 22. I have lost seven pounds, and feel good. Another side effect of Cymbalta is a reduction of muscle pain. Hence I have been able to workout harder then I have for sometime.
So, all better living through chemistry aside, No S has worked for me even when I'm supposed to be gaining weight.

Thank you for sharing this. I'm sure today you have helped more people than you can imagine who will see your story of courage and be encouraged themselves not to give up.
WOW, thanks for sharing! Depression is a destroyer on many levels, I've been there...
Therefore I can imagine how exciting it must be to see NoS working for you. Depression and overeating often go hand in hand...so glad that you're doing well.
SO GLAD
