Off my plateau!!!

Post by gratefuldeb67 »

Yo yo yo!!!!

I have been vacillating between 210 and 208 for the past several months..
Today I weighed in at,,,,,,
Drumroll please,,,,,,,,,,,

205!!!
I almost did a total double take! I mean I'm used to losing one pound a month or nothing for months... LOL.. This was a real surprise!!!

I am psyched yall!!!!
I might even be a bit less than that, as I weighed in the early evening instead of my usual morning weigh in...
This is the most I've lost in any short period of time, almost since I joined NoS in the first few weeks..
It must be because I've been exercising a lot at home, plus my Yoga class this week with Larry, and also I've been too worried for the past few days, to really eat that much..
Had to post this here instead of my thread since I wanted to really shout it to the rooftops!
Woo hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I feel really awesome!!!!

Peace and Love,

I believe this deserves a "Woot woot!"

And think, how many people lose weight on *Fat* Tuesday??

I've only got one thing to say to that, so I'd better say it BIG:

YOU TOTALLY ROCK, DEB!

Congratulations, Deb! Good behavior is eventually rewarded: suddenly, when you don't expect it, and in unaccountable spurts. That's why it's so important to focus on behavior rather than pounds, as you've been doing.

Your title scared me... I thought for a second you'd fallen off the plateau and plunged into an abyss!

Congratulations Deb,

This eating plan must be doable if you kept at it after having a several month plateau. You deserve that weight loss. Good for you!!!!!

P.S. Why do I get the feeling that you are the firecracker in this group?

Man you all rock for all those great comments and congrats!!!
Thanks so much! It feels nice and the inner child in me likes being able to say "Hey ma.. Look what I did!" LOL..
It's nice to know that there are such supportive souls out there..

ps... Tricia.. Yeh... I am so close to that mental hurdle of the leaving the land of 200's... I can taste it...
Since it's taken so much effort and it's taking time, I will really really celebrate when I get there! I am semi tired of thinking of myself in terms of being a 200+ woman... Yes I know it's just my ego but I will be really happy when I hit the 100's...
REALLY...

No Reinhard, sorry I didn't mean to scare you... I'm not about to fall off the Grand Canyon any time soon! Thanks for you concern though!
If I ever do fall, I know I can rely on you to help me up!
You da best around!!!
Love,

Woo-hoo! Good job Deb! You are inspirational! (as always)

Sorry I didn't check in earlier so that I could congratulate you in a more timely manner!
