Good luck with testing out not logging your food! Longer term, it makes sense to get to a place where we don't have to do that anymore, unless we notice weight creep.

Re: Amy's Checking In Again
Thanks, Win. We just got back from a week in Naples - it was just the break I needed after the past few weeks. We walked 20,000+ steps per day there, climbed up and down hills and stairs, enjoying the city, Pompeii, even hiked up Mount Vesuvius - and we were lucky with the weather. I could not ...

Well done on your 10 pound loss and new low - and you did this in a month where you had so much on your plate, which made it all that much more challenging. You have every right to be proud!
Wishing you and the family strength in the time to come.

I'm with Sammy - if you need to have something to manage your blood sugar, that should not count as an S. Don't be too hard on yourself or make it too complicated - mark it and move forward. You've added running to your day, which is probably explains why you are hungrier. Make sure you have enough ...

Thanks to you both  I know you (and other folks on this board) really get the struggle, and how it can dominate how we feel and think on a daily basis. And those feelings and thoughts then determine our behavior, whether or not we stick to our healthy habits or not...the one feeds into the ...

Thanks, Ellis...things continue to be hard. It was also busy at work - my week to lead the team. And my husband was out of town for work for four nights. Oh well. I am still happy with how I did this week, getting back into the groove of things. Going for a reasonable weekend. I've not had any wine for over a week, and I really notice I feel so much better without it.

Thanks for checking in, Win! I had two green days this past week, just barely. I am getting back in the swing of my normal routines after all the December craziness, little by little.
