This may sound stupid, but did you weigh them? I have a 12 pounder that is a little over 10 and a half pounds, and an eight pounder that is close to 9. :( Besides the fact that I know it is heavier, I went up from 8 lbs to 10 lbs, and the 10 lber didn't slow me down at all. If you are losing, comfortable with yourself, and okay with NoS, maybe don't worry about where you will be someday. You'll be where you will be. If you feel like you need to lose more when you get there, you'll have to eat a little less or exercise more.

As long as you can not get depressed when your weight goes up, it's not the worst compulsion.
Point of reference, my weight is usually three pounds higher in the afternoon than it is in the morning. And it can vary by 2 pounds on any given day.
So don't let the variation bother you.
