Somebody shoot me but I am going on another 'experiment'. I'm too embarrassed to talk about it though as I fear disapproval - not only from you but from my own Inner Wise Woman!!

Thanks so much Ironchef. Your feedback is totally spot on - thanks for reminding me to be positive and keep the big picture in mind because that fail was indeed a tiny blip compared to what I am capable of! So so true. I don't HAVE to stick to the list but if I'm feeling indecisive I ...

Hey automated! Thanks so much for the comment... I think my Mum does have a personality disorder of some sort too. My therapist thinks she's probably borderline, particularly given her very traumatic childhood. I think you're right, I need to see my brother on my own terms. It's so hard though as a ...

Hey Sonya! It's good to be back posting again and I'm so grateful for you stopping by my blog and posting encouraging words. It is so reassuring to 'meet' a fellow former GSer too...were you in GS for long? I was on and off for a couple of years, before that it was FA, OA-how etc I did really well ...

Hey Linda!
I'm back on the boards after a little hiatus and I'm very pleased - like everyone else - to learn that you are staying around to share your journey with food even if it isn't NoS. It actually really helps me because it makes me feel free to be totally honest going forward on my blog. I ...

Financial 'snacking' - brilliant! I'm now stalking the notion of not spending on N days too...I've been keeping all my figures for about 5 years and whilst it is a momumental achievement for me, it has felt like an info gathering exercise rather than an aid in terms of saving...although having said ...

Intelligent Dietary Defaults
I'm so touched by your kindness. Okay, I will cut myself some slack.

Breakfast default:
Apple slices with almond butter (2oz)
Quinoa porridge with nuts & seeds ...

Hey Clarebear!
Great to be back and to read where you're up to. I totally identify with wanting to lose weight. I haven't' lost any on No S either and am feeling impatient. I think I will buy some scales when I get paid next Friday - one's that show body fat% as well which might be a better guide ...

Thanks so much everyone. I am sad this afternoon, having a little cry at my desk. He really was the best cat in the world. He was more like a dog actually. He loved being brushed, would greet me at the dog, would come when I called him, was VERY dependent and demanding....I really miss him so much ...
