Dec 23: Failure!
I am surprised Wednesday, Dec 22, was a success since my schedule was a mess. I worked a terrifically long day, finally shutting off my computer at 4 AM. I packed a bag in 15 minutes and immediately drove to the airport to catch a ...

I don't have any New Years' traditions, but after listening to all of yours, I am going to do the spice thing. I am generally really bad about throwing them out b/c they are so expensive. I may attempt to do the closet weeding. However, I hope ALL of my clothes are ready to be disposed this time ...

Interrupted Meals
Does anyone have opinions on interrupted meals and how they fit into the 3 meals paradigm.
At my company, the culture is such that almost everyone works through lunch. Most days I am able to start and finish it in one sitting. But sometimes (once or twice a week) I am called away mid-meal to ...

But more than once, I have found myself overeating BECAUSE the food was so unsatisfying. As if some instinctive level I believe that I haven't really been nourished, and if I keep eating, it will be enough.
Anyone else notice this?

Re: People Get Jealous
I was at work last week when a fairly obese co-worker, began taunting me about being slimmer and having more muscle.
I heard an Air Force saying that seems appropriate here: "If you are not taking flack, you must not be over the target."
So to put a positive spin on this: as long as he is ...
