I think that's a good thing that your scale broke! Especially since science is showing measurements (especially waist) are far more important indicators of health than your weight.
I have a scale, but I don't weigh often. I've never been a big weigher as it's always seemed unhealthy to obsess over ...

I'm Back!
After almost completely falling off the bandwagon and gaining 70+ pounds during my pregnancy, I'm ready to come back! Hormones are a major, MAJOR issue for me when it comes to food. Not to mention the emotional factors involved in being pregnant and dealing with how others suddenly see you as ...

I had my first baby back in July. I wish I could say that I stuck to No S. That completely went out the window at about 6 weeks when the morning sickness kicked in! I gained a whooping 70+ pounds when all was said and done! By about 6-7 months though I was back down to within 10 pounds of where I ...

It's so true that the perception of what's healthy as far as weight is TOTALLY skewed toward higher weights being "normal." It's becoming really infuriating as I continue to lose weight! In 7 months on No S, I have lost 18 pounds (more than 10! and almost 20!) and more than 10% of my original weight of 167! I was so thrilled the other day when I stepped on my Wii Fit board and was under 150 pounds!!!

I just mark that day as yellow if I have one treat (sweet). If I were to have more than one, I would probably mark it red (haven't gotten there yet). I would also mark a day red if it went beyond my weekly allowance of sweets. If I haven't had any, then it's a green day.

I just decided to do this and I am just starving. I ate as much as I could at my meals, but before lunch I was so hungry that my lunch just did not cut it. I need help, do I need to eat more at meals? Or consider 4 meals? I'm ready to just call today a failure and restart tomorrow.
