Yes, it's two days after that; I'm back on the original transcription site (but being a lot more careful so as not to get rejections again!) plus found a couple of other places to work.

Depressed but did not binge!
Last night, as well as most of today, I was depressed because I had had several files rejected at a site where I do online transcription. This brought my rejection rate up to the point where I am now blocked from doing proofreading and reviews, which paid the most money. So I was depressed about ...

The Would-Be Drum Majorette Move
OK, here's a move I came up with, because I was watching the classic movie musical "The Music Man" the other day:
I hoist my (admittedly very lightweight) shovelglove into the air, and march around the back yard, pretending it's a baton and I'm the beautiful blonde ponytailed drum majorette ...

Well, I only just started (again) today, but did have a teeny tiny little victory, in that I didn't have my usual mug of chocolate and vanilla ice cream after supper and before bedtime. (I've been having that most of the summer!)
Though I must confess that the fact that tomorrow's my birthday and ...

Hi! I was on it for a while a few years ago. I had trouble keeping it going because, well, I just have trouble keeping ANY habit going for very long, before I find some excuse to ditch it ("of course you don't have to give up treats EVERY day, just Monday through Friday, except of course you can ...

Anyone else have trouble not snacking while reading?
Hey everyone - I've been away for a while (since 2013, according to the list of my posts!) and am going to give the No S Diet another try.
I think it's a great idea, but here's where I kept falling by the wayside last time: I am a voracious reader - all year round, but especially in the autumn ...

Baked Potatoes!
Hi everyone!
I'm not really new to the forum but haven't posted for quite a while.
I got seduced by the Atkins diet and have been trying the "low carb" thing for a while.
But as I think anyone else who's tried it will understand, I got bored by it pretty quickly - and never did get that miraculous ...

Hi everyone, I'm not really new here but have been a lurker for quite some time.
Just thought you might enjoy hearing about my first attempt to do the "shovelglove" workout a couple of months ago.
At my husband's suggestion, I decided to combine it with killing part of a big ugly bush in our back ...

Back, ready to give this a try, but kind of scared
Hi Everyone -
I'm back, and am about to go to my first Weight Watchers meeting in two weeks.
And I'm scared because even though I've been doing the No S plan* since before Christmas, and at least attempting to go out and do a long walk every day or at least every other day, my weight is still ...

Does "sampling" count as "snacking"?
Hi!
I was putting together our supper tonight and as usual when I'm cooking, I absent-mindedly sampled some of the ingredients - primarily the sharp cheddar cheese I was grating for the casserole!
But then I caught myself and realized - um - this isn't actually the meal yet - this is just ...

Newbie in Weight Watchers, curious about this diet!
Hi everyone!
I'm a newbie. I've been a member of WW for over a year and at one point had lost almost 50 pounds. But I really hated doing the Points counting, so I hit a plateau, and now my weight is slowly creeping back up again.
And as I also posted over on the Urban Ranger forum, I've got a ...
