I've got to agree with Kodama here. It's not necessarily a good metric for evaluating individuals. But it is a great metric for evaluating populations.
I live in one of the 3 worst states that are red on that map. Let me assure you that people are not getting shorter.

Well, I don't usually have problems with eating so much that I feel bad. So, that's not a huge issue for me.
My main issue, from a behavior modification point of view, is the feeling of going "cold turkey" every Monday. When I first began the diet months ago, this was not a problem, because I like ...

quantizing esses on S days
Having a discrete number of esses on S days is something that I would like to do. But I lack the inclination to do it. As a result, I permasnack on S days.
My question is, if I start limiting my esses on S days, will that make overall diet compliance easier or harder. What has been the experience ...

I too have been committing the sin of non-glove. So far, no problems as a result. I also shug on carpet. However, I definitely intend on adding a wrap in the near future. I think the longer I do the workout the more important the covering will become. Which seems counter-intuitive. My logic is that ...

No I had not seen that. Although, I'm not particularly impressed with it. It's not clear that anybody has actually bothered to make one based on those designs. The straight one looks the more feasible of the two. I'm very dubious of the T-shaped design.

To satisfy my own whim, I am working on a DIY adjustable hammer design. I am hoping to address the weight adjustment without having 5 different hammers. Warmup/Stretches for back
My lower back is a bit sore today. Any seasoned warmup/stretching suggestions for pre-shugging.
Just generic toe touches? Sitting or standing toe touches?
I might also try some hindu pushups. Perhaps a back bridge of some sort, but there are so many options.

While iodized salt may contain enough iodine to prevent goiters, it is not a significant source of iodine. Normal consumption of iodized salt provides micrograms of Iodine. Whereas as many recommend tens of milligrams.

Just wondering if I'm the only person that has ever experienced this. Please note that this has not happened to me since I've been on the diet, but it might be applicable to S-days anyhow.

You say you have a thyroid condition. I don't know if you are on thyroid medication or not. Perhaps you could find a health professional who could supervise some modest Iodine supplementation.

I did it for a week and didn't lose any weight and it was hard.
I can't imagine a sentence that more precisely illustrates what is wrong with American diet culture.

Just curious,
They are sand filled, so I wonder if that would have any noticeable affect on acceleration/deceleration profile. A quick web search found that there are some available with long handles.

Greetings from a newbie, any movement pointers
Did my first SG workout today. Gotta say I enjoyed it more than any sort of gym equipment.
I'm not sure if I'm doing the motions correctly or not though.
Didn't seem to be much difference between the Fireman and the Tree chop, at least the way I was doing it.
