Thank you so much for the kind (and eloquent!) words on your blog!
You should add a link to it on our blogs thread
Just wanted to link to a post I put up on my blog about No-S. I featured it my "Things I Love" series.

Soup & Sandwich
I'll give the disclaimer up front that this is just a random, rambling question. I tend to think out loud, and this forum serves the purpose quite nicely.
Regarding soup and sandwichas a meal, I'm thinking that if it's a big ol' deli sandwich, it should be a meal on it's own; no bowl of soup needed ...

Blue, I know how you feel. Sometimes, I'm just not *that* hungry at breakfast. One thing that works for me on those days is cafe au lait. I use a small amount of really strong coffee added to about a cup of hot, whole milk. It makes a big ol' mug full, and is quite filling.

Hmm...some interesting points. I'll think on it a bit.
For what it's worth, I don't get the 60% b/c it's supposedly healthy, it's just what I prefer. Same with tiny bites and making it last. I do that because it's how it's best. Why bother with a piece of really good chocolate if just scarfing it ...

Can I apply a Glass Ceiling rule to this?
Um, er, ah...I guess it would actually be a 60% Cocoa ceiling.
See, 90% of my temptation comes at night, when the kids go to bed and hubby and I sit down for my nightly fix of NCIS. It's always been the time of day I feel like snacking.

Rambling First Impressions
Up until about 12 years ago, I was a naturally fit person, muscular, in a cute, size 6 kind of way.
I first gained weight - about 30 pounds - when I moved to TX, started sitting in front of a computer all day, and making Taco Bell a food group all it's own.
I managed to lose that weight ...

Where do the Country Bumpkins Walk?
I'm describing myself, here. We live on basically 20 acres of pasture. That's in the back. In the front, it's the highway. The fact that there's "nowhere" to walk has been a bone of contention with me the whole time we've lived here. I suppose I could load up the four kids (ages 1-8 ) and trek ...

Newbie Question
Ok, I've spent the majority of the day reading the No-S book and browsing the bulletin boards. Having done so, I totally skipped my usual weight training routine. Feeling the obligatory guilt, I decided I must do SOMETHING, so I decided to make myself a shovelglove.
I have to admit that I giggled ...
