I can now report that today I had an ultrasound scan, at 6 weeks 3 days. I have a little baby on board with a little beating heart!

So far so good, everything looks just perfect.

There's a long way still to go of course, and no guarantees, but this is certainly a most excellent beginning.

There is no actual ruling on alcohol. Reinhard himself is rather fond of an occasional and limited quantity of beer and has a system called 'glass ceiling' whereby you put a 2 drink limit on it per day. If you make sure that you stick to your ONE plate of food at a meal, then you can't overeat. If you think your plate looks disgustingly overloaded, it might very well be, but don't worry too much, cos that will sort itself out once your body gets used to only eating at fixed times each day ...
