It took several tries for me before I got it down, and really established my habit. Keep it up. Remember...a red day, is just ONE day! If you have a failure, you aren't starting over, you're just continuing your No-S journey after a small bump in the road.
Keep it up, because it works, and once you ...

Shovelglove & Swimming
Have been shugging for a while now, usually in the morning before work unless I have to be in extra early.
But just recently got back in the pool on a regular (3x per week) basis. Doing about 1600 - 2000 yards per workout at the moment...not huge, but FEELS hard!
Any thoughts on whether it would ...

Thanks for the advice Billy.
The funny thing is that we were on a calm, flat, windless lake! I think we both leaned to one direction to avoid hitting a bridge trestle and so we just went over. Luckily, we were near the side of the lake because I have no idea how I would have got back on that kayak ...

FWIW, I make adjustments for situations like that all the time. For example, if I am having a relatively normal day, with relatively normal scheduling and exercise (one to 1.5 hours of exercise daily), then I will almost always stick to a 3 meal no-s regimen.
However, if my schedule is really weird ...

Nic,
Why do you have to eat out 2 or 3 times a day? Are you at work, and going out to bf or lunch? If that's the case, you could try what I do -- I either bring something healthy, or I keep food in my desk at work.
For example, my breakfast is almost always oatmeal with some crushed almonds and a ...

FWIW, I eat either three or four meals a day. I know this might not be ideal in terms of establishing habit, but on days when I swim in the morning, I need to have something in my stomach. And since I swim at 6:00, that means eating (usually a slice of whole wheat bread with about a half tbsn of PB ...

Exercise isn't really a problem for me, other than finding enough time to do as much as I'd like to. My problem has - at least until now that I'm embracing No-S -- has been my eating...so even though I'm "fit" and have been for a large part of my adult life, I've always had a lovely layer of -- hmm ...
