I thought it was very interesting! I know for me, I have a difficult time with losing weight, but I can maintain weight without too much effort. I have to be REALLY disciplined, when I'm working on losing weight.
I enjoyed listening to Dr. Sharma's video clip. I have come to realize that as I approach the weight that is what I believe is good for me, that "rubber band" is stretched more and more. It'll be up to me how many mods can I endure before that rubber bands snaps! I'm counting on my weekends to eventually settle down to release some of the tension (yeah, I know it's a lot of rubber band talk).
You've always got me because I wasn't obese all my life.
I find that I don't have to expend the same effort all the time, but I do have to expend some effort at least some of the time. But it doesn't feel as if I'm having to hold a rubber band tight.
I also find that I need to go to events hungry. Not starving, but hungry. Staving off hunger before I go is a big mistake. I pick more, get even more full, and don't enjoy myself.
I think it's very important to think about adding soothing and uplifting activities to one's life as well as planning good meals and moderate regular exercise. I used to look at lists of things I could do instead of eating but still not choose to do them. But doing them as a kind of prescription sounds more compelling.
The guy sounds compassionate. I like that.

I'm curious about what diet books don't have recipes. By that standard, most of them should be ousted. I guess that was his point. But they keep getting published.
