New bulletin board infrastucture

I just moved the bulletin board over to all all new technical infrastucture.

My hope is that you won't notice anything except that it is faster.

The main url has changed, but I have redirects in place that should automatically take you to the new urls from the old ones.

Old url: everydaysystems.com/bb
New url: bb.everydaysystems.com

Please let me know if you run into any trouble!

If this all seems to be working, I will see if I can enable registrations again without the manual step of having to email me. That was very effective at stoppping spam, but pretty much prevented 99% of real humans from joining the site. Because I can actually get the latest and greatest anti spam tools working on the new infrastucture, this may be possible. I will try to move the habitcal over as well.

I also moved the habitcal over to the new infrastructure (yesterday).

so now habitcal.everydaystems.com instead of everydaysystems.com/habitcal

Redirects are in place so all your old urls should still work.

There are still many strange and ancient things about the habitcal, but at least it's running on a modern operating system and web server...

Please let me know if anyone is having difficulties with the habitcal or bulletin board.

Reinhard

Glad to hear it, Deb! Good to see you here outside the "walled garden" of facebook. Just like old times. :-)
