Pollan's New Food Rules

Post by wosnes »

I saw the new edition of Michael Pollan's illustrated Food Rules at the bookstore yesterday. He does give credit to Reinhard and his co-author and gives the whole 14-word summary of No-S.

There's a simple summary plus an audio slideshow and new rules countdown here

Oh, that's really good news. I was afraid that No S might be omitted because of the provenance.

That's great! Thanks for letting us know.

I'll grab a copy today.

And use it as an excuse to thank him/remind him of my existence.

Yay! I hope this generates lots of interest and even more importantly lots of participation in sane, healthy eating.

It's not as much as I had hoped for, but the credit is there. There are 19 new rules, though that isn't one of them. Many of them do fit with No-S, though.

Funny, with some good info, too: Michael Pollan on The Colbert Report

Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse; A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day: And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God… (Dt. 11:26-28.)
